SEMA 2010-Hyundai Equus sedan made a few heads turn at the SEMA Show

The revamped and redesigned Hyundai Equus sedan made a few heads turn at the SEMA Show 2010. Then there is the Elegant Equus inspired by Mummbles Marketing ideas. The audio video enhancement is also noteworthy.

The Equus is powered by a mighty 450 HP engine and the Mummbles edition also gets a Nitrous Express kit coupled with Magnaflow dual-exhaust system. At the SEMA 2010, the company also showcased the Sonata Turbo and Genesis Coupe, aimed at two very different target groups. The luxury quotient put in the various editions of the Equus prove that.

One that caught our attention is this ARK Track Time Attack Genesis Coupe 3.8L.
Fifteen-year-old ARK is a parts supplier in South Korea that manufactures performance exhaust systems, suspension components, body parts, and other bits for the aftermarket and auto industry.

What makes this project car significant is that Hyundai and ARK representatives said some of the components on the show car would be available through Hyundai dealers.
The model on display is a customized piece of Hyundai’s new Equus luxury flagship with exterior, interior and performance upgrades.
There is also an array of carbon fiber parts including mirror caps, front chin and rear deck spoilers, grille and exhaust outlet trims. HRE 21-inch P40 wheels does up the rest of the exterior package.
The RMR signature Edition unit for the SEMA show has the headrests and floor mats, and – hold on – ostrich hide leather seats with suede accents.
