"Charged" Skoda Fabia RS has started tests

The prototype of "charged" hatchback Skoda Fabia RS has started tests. As writes Autoweek.nl, the experimental version of the future novelty has been noticed on Northern loop of a Nurnburgring.

Serial version Skoda Fabia

Serial Fabia RS, predictably, will present in March, 2010 on a motor show in Geneva. According to British magazine Autocar, the novelty will be equipped by the 1,4-l petrol motor with double pressurisation (the turbine and the compressor), developing 180HP. Now with such engine it's completed Seat Ibiza Cupra, and in the future will appear and on VW Polo GTI.

No other details about Fabia RS yet are informed.
Meanwhile, in 2010 Skoda Fabia will get not only the "charged" updating, but also will carry out easy face lifting. The premiere updated Skoda Fabia will take place on the Geneva motor show.
