Citroen has shown photos of a new hatchback

Citroen Company has declassified the first photos of new hatchback Citroen C4 of following generation. The official debut of this novelty will take place in the autumn on a motor show in Paris.

Competitors of new C4, as before, will be: VW Golf, Renault Megane, Ford Focus and Opel Astra. As well as in a case with Citroen C3, new C4 will be issued only in a five-door variant and becomes direct replacement of model of the previous generation.

Details about technical stuffing of Citroen C4 are not advertised — but is now, the new hatchback became longer (+55 mm), are wider (+17 mm) and above (+32 mm). However the hatchback platform, apparently, has not undergone global changes. In Europe new Citroen C4 will appear on sale till the end of current year.

Italian manufacturer Ferrari has officially presented photos and the detailed information on the new model — 599 GTO (Gran Turismo Omologata). This is the speeded road car for all history of a brand.

Citroen has constructed a coupe for gentlemen

Company Citroen has presented the conceptual sport compartment developed by the designer of hatchback DS3 by Mark Lloyd under the project of the editor of the British version of magazine GQ Dylan Jones which has tried to create own car of the future "for gentlemen".

The prototype is equipped by the hybrid power-plant combining the 1,6-l petrol engine with direct injection of fuel, the electromotor and feeding accumulators. Audi prepares a compact sport coupe

On a motor show in Detroit company Audi has presented experimental compact coupe on electrodraught — Audi E-tron Detroit Showcar. The novelty is the continuer of concept Audi E-Tron constructed on the basis of Audi R8 and presented on motor show in Frankfurt in the autumn of 2009.

However, the new prototype is more compact than first "E-tron" and it is easier: on the sizes new coupe it is comparable to golf class hatchbacks, and it is equipped only by two electromotors.

Engines rotate only back wheels: their total power makes 201HP that allows to disperse 1350-kgs car (the first E-Tron weighed 1600 kgs) to 100 km/h for 5,9 sec.

The heaviest detail of the new concept car is a block li-ionic of batteries which 399 kgs weigh. Storage batteries are placed practically on the car centre that has allowed developers to keep optimum balance — 40:60 in favour of a back axis. A stock of a course at this car — 155 miles (250 km).

The car, which world premiere will take place in the beginning of January of next year on a motor show in Detroit, will receive the soft developing roof developing in a special compartment in a luggage carrier for 20 seconds. And this operation can be carried out for the speed to 40 km/h. In the combined condition the top reduces useful volume of a luggage carrier by 90 litres — to 300 litres.

New cabriolet Mercedes-Benz E-Class

North American company Gullwing-America, having got acquainted on the international motor show in Frankfurt with new supercar Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, not lingering, has developed for the car a special body-kit who has strengthened similarity of the car to legendary model Gullwing 300SL.

In spite of the fact that German designers created Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG just like Gullwing 300SL, the American tuners have considered, that supercar is not too similar to the predecessor for what the special body-kit has been developed.

The car under name Gullwing America SLS Panamericana has received the updated lattice of a radiator, 20-inch disks, the chromeplated overlays, the new wings partially closing wheels, and on a cowl there were two "edges". It is impossible to assert, that the body-kit has radically changed appearance of the car, but, undoubtedly, Gullwing America SLS Panamericana looks much more interesting, than Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG.

Interior have left without changes

Interior of the car designers Gullwing-America have left former, having replaced only seats. In car salon there were overlays from the polished aluminium and the tablet with logo Panamericana. At will of the client model will paint in any colour, and on a body will paste racing strips. Release Gullwing America SLS Panamericana will be carried out only in Germany. On operational development cost it is not informed.
