Ford has shown a new off-road car

New generation of Ford Explorer has been shown in the USA to a narrow circle of the elite. The VIP-representatives of the American car dealers of mark Ford have been invited to model demonstration.

New Ford Explorer 2011

From the middle of the eightieth and up to crisis of 2008 Ford Expplorer was one of the basic models of the company in the car market of the North America.

Ford Motor Co. has presented to car dealers new Explorer as model 2012. Earlier, Ford planned to start new model in the end of this year, but decided to begin manufacture at least since January, 2011.

Off-road Explorer

New Ford Explorer will receive absolutely new platform. The motor-car manufacturer will offer four-cylinder two-litre motor EcoBoost. Predictably, the six-cylinder motor will be offered also.

The dealers seeing the new car, notice: "The car became more roundish, than present model Explorer, with smooth lines and reminds the increased version of crossover Ford Edge."

New "charged" Ford Focus will appear in two years

The Vice-president of European branch Ford Derrick Kuzak has declared, that "charged" Ford Focus new generation will appear in the market in two years. Under a cowl of this car there will be a four-cylinder motor of family Ecoboost with a turbo-supercharging and direct injection of fuel, informs edition Carscoop. About what version "Focus" — ST or RS — there is a speech, is not specified yet.

«Start/Stop» for new Focus RS

Besides, journalists Auto Express knew, that new "RS" will be completed with system "Start/Stop", and also the robotised transmission with two couplings. It is expected, that from 0 to 100 km/h this car will be dispersed approximately for five seconds.

Light version RS

Concern Ford does not cease to work and over Focus RS current generation. Earlier it was informed, that the motor-car manufacturer plans to make the limited series facilitated "RS" at which the 2,5-l engine will be forced to 350HP. This version will receive name Clubsport. In total it will be collected such 500 cars.
